This came from a mate who works for kew gardens IT department he was sent this from his boss.

Dear All,

I have recently seen a PC support job advertisment for a "Desktop Infrastructure Consultant" (DIC).

I think we should change our job titles and all become DIC’s.

When people phone with a problem Mala can say, "You need to speak to the DIC on Windows, or the DIC on Unix".

I think this change would be good for moral and our standing within the organisation.

Any comments? Derek After reading this my reply was that he would now be known as the DIC Head as he is head of IT
